non competitive program

Is anyone finding themselves trying to recover from past mistakes and doubting your ability to get into a program? Has anyone had any past experiences with getting into a program after recovering from low GPA? I would love some helpful tips and tricks or program recommendations around the okc metro area. Thanks.

Your best bet will be to research the specific requirements of programs in your area. Some consider things like volunteer experience or the ability to speak a second language. Others look at GPA of the hard sciences, only. Some will not acknowledge the grades of retaken classes, but some will.

Look for what's most realistic with regard to your specific circumstances and go from there. You might also consider looking into LPN programs and then doing an LPN to RN bridge program soon after.

I agree maybe you should do lpn to Rn to BSN if you think you will not be competitive. I got in with a 3.0 and went to ou so it is possible to get in without stellar grades. You got this! Best of luck!
