is it nocturia

Nocturia is only inc urine at night, not in day time, eight? If on diuretic and inc urine day and night, this would not be nocturia, right?

Featured Replies

Nocturia has nothing to do with incontinence. It means frequent urination at night. If patient is on diuretics and pees mostly at night, it is nocturia secondary to the diuretics.

Nocturia doesn't have anything to do with incontinence. Prior to my being diagnosed with DI, I had nocturia. It just means that you wake up at night to pee.

The proper name for incontinence of urine of enuresis. If the patient is incontinent only at night, it is noctural enuresis.
