I have 30 days left until my preceptorship. My school has been in constant turmoil and chaos for the last 5 month and we now have an interim director. She claims to be the "be all end all" of the program and we have no recourse for any of her actions. No one to go to, no one to file a complaint with (lest you be kicked out of the program). How do I handle the rest of my time to avoid getting kicked out due to her mood on a particular day? She changes written policies daily, most of the time without anyone knowing until said policy has been broken. I'm terrified of getting kicked out and I haven't even done anything wrong.

Try to fly under the radar!!!! If you have a serious question, go in and ask her, but I would really try to lay low and just get done. There are higher ups that you can eventually go to. You can take your complaints all the way up to state level. That's really after something bad happens though. I'm so sorry your last few weeks are going to be miserable. I wish you the best and just keep your head down and go forward. Good luck
