Abstam, thanks for the tip! I will email them to fix this issue. This has been so hard and they are just making it harder. I was positive I will pass the test and I really can't fathom what I missed. Where do u live anyway? If you need a study buddy for the test let me know. Thanks!

loooooooooool:roflmao: "test monkeys"

or maybe start a petition on change.org?

Hi congratulations at least a ray of sunshine on this exam. I am looking to write mine around March as I am yet to sort out the initial process. Is it alright to state what edition you bought and clarify if it was the student pr professional one? thank you in advance and congrats again.

AWWWW congrats!!!

i had the same problem with re-booking, however i went directly through pearson vue (not through NMC). it took about a week to resolve the issue but i've received a new email and am able to re-book.

When I purchased mine, I honestly didn't even look at the edition...whoops! I do have the student edition, 7th edition. I highly doubt they vary that much. I'm sure whatever you purchase will be helpful!

Petrick,

I'm having the same exact problem! I too failed the exam Dec. 18. I've phoned the NMC several times about being unable to rebook and they've told me it's an "IT issue" :/ they advised me to send an email to their [email protected] I also sent an email to [email protected] explaining the problem. I sent the emails early last week and haven't heard back…

Maybe if you (and anyone else in the forum with the same problem) send an email as well it will help them to hurry up and fix the issue!!

Best of luck to you. I'll let you know if they respond with any updates.

Hi! I have emailed PearsonVue last Sunday and when I checked my email last night, I saw the authorisation to test. I went to PearsonVue just now and it is there indeed. Hope you have resolved this issue as well!

How much is the book?

Hello.

I took the CBT last December 12 and failed. I was waiting for my flight back home when I found out. :(

Anyhow, I just got my authorisation (last night  after 10 thousand years of waiting) for me to resit the exam again and it said 2 attempts? Does this mean we won't be waiting for 6 months to retake again? Though it would be nice to pass this time. This exam is ridiculously expensive!

I am so glad to hear that a lot are passing this January. I have decided to book my resit early February. Any advice on the format, exam trends, etc?

Thanks a lot in advance, guys!

PS: Did any nurses from the Philippines pass?

Hi!

For those who were still a part of the old system and chose to take the test, what did you do? What are the steps to shift from the old system to the new one? Well, my case is complicated. I am still lacking 2 requirements from my pack 2 because I used to work in Saudi Arabia and it has been almost 2 months now since I requested the Saudi Council to fill out the form.:( So waiting for the DL is not yet even possible for this moment. To make things a bit more complicated, my employer is asking me to take the test instead of the ONP because they are not sure their Trust is still offering ONP. I'm thankful that there are positive feedback about the test although I don't know yet how to get there :(...Enlighten me pls...^___^

My question however is, how much time is enough really to invest in studying these materials and really feel ready for the exam considering that the materials to read is so voluminous.

Don't sweat yourself. I only read the links from the blueprint from Friday until Sunday with gaming sessions in between.

They seem to have given those who failed an "extra" take so if ever you fail again (hopefully not) then you won't have to wait for another 6 months. Exam trends? It's easy really. You just have to study all the links from the blueprint.

Oh and yes, I'm from the Philippines and passed.
