NMC delay and put on queue this 2013. waiting for decision letter

Since nmc put on hold all the papers and resume this year, is there anyone who was put on queue this 2013 and received the decision letter? I would like to know if 90 days waiting period really followed. Its really frustrating knowing that it only took 1 month before to process this. Please share your experiences. Thanks!

Anyone experienced having their IELTS expire while on pack 1?

not me... that must be terrible, my ielts expire november this year...

It would've been terrible if i did not pass the july 2013 exam, luckily i did. Just so happens that when I registered at the NMC, I used my old, yet valid IELTS which expired on august.

Omg! Mine will expire on June 2014 and I still haven't got a decision :-(

any update guys? im like a little boy looking outside the windows waiting for a mail man everyday!

Yeah if you're reaching the nmc by email, forget it. It takes them to long to reply. Call them instead. Call them at exactly 8:00am london time so that you wouldnt have to be put on hold in a queue. You might also want to use VoIP apps (internet to landline apps) that offer cheaper rates. Lastly, it seems that the nmc gets their work done every after the 13th day of the month. If you read the previous posts, alot of them say that they got their email/dl/etc on or after the 13th. Must be true because when i called nmc about my pack 1, they said that they lodged in on nov 13.

Goodluck!

just phoned the nmc today and the agent told me that there was a meeting held last thursday about my application, they have escalated my application to another department of NMC, she also said to call back after 2 weeks about the outcome of the meeting. anyone experienced this?

can anyone post a decision letter sample?

.. if you apply to nmc and recieve your packs dont worry about ielts expiring some university can consider if your ielts expired.. the only reason i can say with the delays is that there are really a lot of applicants.. when i went to the NMC office they where able to show which number i am in and how long it would possibly take before they can assess my documents.. they dont overlap with the old applicants.. everything is entered into the computer system so basically its not manual.. also some cases are really complicated that it takes very long time to assess.. one thing also is they dont have much staff to deal with the assessment of application.. thats as far as i know..

Just called the nmc and asked about my pack 1. They said that it could take up to 3 months for me to get my pack 2. I'm wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing :(

i was also told before to wait 90 days just for pack 2 because they need to verify the ielts, etc...

Ouch. So did it take you 90 days to get your pack 2?
