2019 NMC Decision Letter

So, I decided to start this thread so we can discuss our U.K. NMC decision letter stories as well as CoS and Tier 2 visa application in the year 2019. Especially with all the new updates and changes with the NMC for international registration and Brexit.

I joined the queue on the 20th of February and still waiting for my DL. I know it is still early. But these days, people have been testifying to getting it in less than 15 working days. I am really anxious. Anyone submitted around the time, and still waiting for their DL as well?

Do y'all know if they are hiring nurses from Cuba, she wants to do it.

Decision letter ie the longest part, God knows when where and how....we will be okay.

We should appreciate everything now because when we go we will miss it.

Cheers.

I never knew waiting could be so stressful.

Hello. Having an assessor doesn’t mean you’ll get your decision letter sooner. Two days before i got mine, I didn’t have an assessor.

Thought this might help.

So after getting assessor u got ur DL within 2 days

I called them on a Tuesday and i was told i had no assessor. I received my DL on Friday, so having an assessor early or late doesn’t matter

So, eventually, you received decision letter on the 35th business day (excluding weekend) after the first day on your submission to the NMC?

That's awesome!

I'm on the 49th business days (excluding weekend) since my submission and I'm still waiting :(. No Queue date, No assessor.

I received mine on the 35th day including weekends not on the 35th business day. Your queue date is the day your last document was received by them. You can see it on the application section when you log in.

That's lightning fast. NMC calculation is usually based on business days.
So, if you received yours on 35th including weekend, that's only 25th business days.

I already submit all my paper application by post on day 2 with tracked postage to NMC. But until now, I did not receive anything other than "we will process your application bla bla bla within 40-60 business days" in NMC portal.

When you log in to the nmc site, click on MY NMC which is on the top left corner, then click on MY APPLICATION, you should be able to see of your documents have been received and the date the last document was received which is your queue date. Also send them a mail and call them.

Call them and ask for your queue date. Email them and tell them to look into your application. And you should count weekends as well. If you are sure you have been on the queue for 49 business days please add the number of weekends to your calculation. That should be almost 60days if not more.
