So I was accepted as intended nursing at La Salle University for their evening BSN ACHIEVE program last week! They want me to take the NLN before they review me for official admission and they directed me to nlnonlinetesting.com to register. I was looking through the site and I think the one I'm supposed to register for is the NLN PAX.
I noticed testing dates are incredibly sporifice and incredibly far away. Not much is listed in the state of PA except locations 2+ hours away. Is this correct? Do they post more locations as test times are established?

National League for Nursing - Testing Services for the PAX. Apparently it's the dead time year. There is only one PA location listed. There were more options back in Nov. - April.
The NLN test service closed out the registration 2 weeks before the scheduled test date, full session or not. You might need to contact the school and see if they can open a seat if you just missed their closeout date.

I just accepted to La Salle University BSN ACHIEVE Program as well! I am really excited...but am a little ticked because the only counselor, Cara, has not been returning my calls in a timely manner and when she does she alway seems to have an attitude or refers to be someone else. I am going to being taking my prereq and will take the NLN exam once more testes dates open up. I am also going to take my prereq on line rather than @ the university due to costs...what are u going to do?
Woohoo! Congrats!
Yeah I've been dealing with Cara predominately as well. She usually takes a day or two to respond to my emails but is otherwise quick. Sorry your experience hasn't been the best. All the colleges I applied to have slow counsellors. *sigh*
I'm taking my last pre-req (Microbio) at Montgomery Community College this fall. I start that class in September! :) I'm excited to be so close to being done.
Do you know when test dates open up for the NLN? The only one open right now that's relatively close is the one 2 hours away at Marywood University in Scranton... It's in December so I'm thinking of just signing up for that one and taking a day off work to take the test... What are you going to do?
I just recieved my NLN study guide in the mail too. :) Going to start studying ASAP.

Hi! I am interested in La Salle. Congratulations to the both of you for getting accepted. Question... did you have finish all your pre-req's before applying? And are you in the LPN to BSN program? How long did the application process take? I have been trying to schedule an appointment to see a counsellor for the longest time, but I never get a response back *sigh*
I did not see any recent dates for the NLN exam. after this semester I am going to contact Care for further information. I am going to order the study guide soon and hopefully can take the tests in the summer or the beginning of the fall semester. I am taking all my pre-requs at lasalle...I only have to take AP I & II, micro, and chemistry. All of my classes from undergraduate, gradauate, and my PhD program transferred over.
