NJCU ABSN 2021

Thanks for starting the thread.

I'll be applying if I don't get accepted into Rutgers ABSN Spring cohort.

Has anyone taken or registered for the HESI exam yet? The NJCU website says to register for the "Distanced Testing Exam." Does this imply that the exam will be administered online with some kind of proctor?

my test will be in Clark NJ so not proctored .

I'm taking mine of February 13th. I know it's kinda late, but I want to make sure that I am fully prepared for it so I gave myself some extra time to study.

I understand ! I just got back from taking mines . Fingers crossed we both get in . Did you apply to jersey city campus ?

Btw isn’t the application due feb 1st ? I think you have to have the test done by then

I'm so nervous to take the exam since I read that if you get a 79.9 that it automatically disqualifies you from applying, how was it? The Feb 1st is the deadline for Wall Campus. I emailed the nursing department just to make sure my test date was OK and they told me yes because the Jersey City Campus deadline is Feb 28th, which is the one that I am applying to. I have my fingers crossed too that we both get in as well. Which campus are you applying to?

I applied to jersey city campus . The test wasn’t too bad . Compared to the TEAS exam HESI is easier . Biology was my lowest surprisingly. A&P and math were my highest scores . Definitely  study a lot  of vocabulary and science . Grammar wasn’t bad and reading was easy
