Hi everyone,
Does anyone here know of any north atlanta practical nursing programs that can be completed during nights and weekends? All the programs I've found seem to be daytime only.
Thank you,
Jackie

hi- try Lanier Tech- They only admit every couple of years or so. I think you can take the classes at night, but practicums still have to be done during the day.
Brenau University in Gainesville has a par time BSN program which takes 31/2 years. Classes are one or two evenings a week at night and clinicals are two weekends a month.

Try Dekalb Tech College (Clarkston, Covington) - LPN; Atlanta Tech College (Atlanta) - LPN; Lanier Tech (Gainsville) - LPN; Gwinnett Tech (Lawrenceville) - LPN; Athens Tech (Athens) LPN and ADN; Athens Tech @ Gwinnett Tech (ADN). Any degree level academic course taken at one of the tech colleges will generally transfer to a state university for an ADN and sometimes for a BSN. There are also articulation agreements between LPN and ADN programs at some local colleges and universities (Athens Tech, Ga Perimeter, North Ga College, GSU, KSU). If you have a degree in some other subject area, there are advanced nursing programs at Emory, GSU and KSU to accelerate completion of BSN and MN degrees. Also consider Ga Baptist @ Mercer University.

Dianne,
There are several online RN to BSN programs. Make sure they are accreditied of course. I don't know if you are a self study person but when I took my online pre-reqs, I loved it because I could make my own schedule. I just completed 5 online courses this year.

Brenau university also has an RN to BSN program that is online/and/or evenings/weekends. I believe you meet just a few times during the semester.
