NICU vs PICU

I am thinking about transfering to the PICU....I'm not sure? My goal is to transport. In the NICU spots are rare, 10 years is the least senior. In the PICU they have a larger pool of transport nurses. I love working in the NICU but the PICU seems to have many more advancement opps than where I am. Is their any one that does both? Ours are in the same hospital but separate unions.?????? I'm just not sure......

No one seems to want to answer. I would want to do Pedi ICU as well as NICU. I had Pedi dreams years ago, I did Pedi Oncology for 5 years. Talk about painting myself in a corner, I suggest you expand your area of practice for what ever reasons you want, just do it!
