the nextstep after LPN?

just wondering...what is the next step after becoming an lpn?....i wanted to continue on to obtaining my rn. but i see alot of bsn and other degrees.....can someone explain whats what? and what is the difference?(experience, time it takes to obtain,the addd responsibilities, more pay)

just trying to see what other opportunities there are out there for me. any info or advice is greatly appreciated!!!!thanks:confused:

ADN = associate degree in nursing

BSN = bachelor of science in nursing

MSN = master of science in nursing

DNP = doctor of nursing practice

The ADN and BSN degrees are the two main entry points to becoming an RN. You are eligible for licensure as an RN if you complete the ADN program. Or you can bypass the ADN, and become eligible for RN licensure after completing a BSN program.
