Newbie here with a question....

hi everyone!!!!

ok, i've been going to school part time to get into an rn program for the last couple of years now. i have a new found motivation to finish, because i plan on joining the air force as a commissioned officer/nurse. i just finished 4 classes this last summer!!! yay!!!!

so, i go to a local university yesterday to possible talk about getting into their spring nursing program, and the counselor says with my transcripts, i should have no problem getting into the march program. she says all i need now is the application process and 16 more credits.

i need these courses:

-4 credits of natural sciences

-3 credits of humanities

-3 credits of nutrition

-3 credits of stats

-3 credits developmental psych

for the 4 credits - natural sciences - i have a choice of these classes:

-geol 101 & 103;

-phys 110, 151, 152, 180 & 180l, 181 & 181l, 182 & 182l

- ast 101 & 105, 103 & 105;

-geog 103 & 104

what would you recommend me to take? i am leaning towards a physics class, because i still need to take the teas exam. maybe that will be useful towards the teas? also, i do work part-time, and i do not want to be overwhelmed. would you recommend me taking a possibly easier class like astrology with a lab or physics? it has to be 4 credits, and i am very undecided. hopefully i can get some advice form some of you winners (health care people)!!!!

thanks for any response. i look forward to being part of this community! =)

Hi and welcome

Moving this to the pre student forum where I am sure some help will come

What are the Geology classes? I found those to generally be pretty easy. Physics is going to be a lot of work, especially since it is like Chem and requires you to do a lot of problem work to be able to solve the problems quickly and efficiently, so you may want to stay away from Physics. Astrology should not be that bad, neitehr should th Geology classes.

Good luck.
