Discussion

i'm new here, i have a question.

i couldn't find this information anywhere, and i don't know where else to ask so...

i recently became a CNA in the state of texas.

i *heard* that if you're certified in texas, you can transfer your certification to other states.

so i was wondering if anyone knows anything about this?

i'm going to be moving to utah soon, and i was wondering how i go about doing this.

any information would be very helpful, thank you!!

Call the certifying authority for CNAs in Utah and speak to someone about your desire to become certified there. When I wanted to move, this is what I did. Someone here may be able to answer your question, but you will still have to speak to the horse's mouth to get them to send you the paperwork. Good luck and hope you enjoy it at your new home.

When I moved to Minnesota I had to take the skills assessment and test over again in that state to be certified.
