New Nurses! Post here, Lets get to know one another!

Hi~! My name is Beth and I am a brand new LVN. Just graduated from Angelina College in December. Took boards january 3rd and passed :o) Have already went through orientation, and computer training, and officially start work tomorrow.

I am an older new nurse lol, at 36. I have four kids, 2 girls and 2 boys ages 9-15. I am currently taking classes to start the RN transition program.

I am working on the med/surg telemetry unit. I signed up for nights! I am excited and scared and nervous! I would love to meet others starting out on this same journey to have someone to compare things with!

:D

I got my license on Sept 2010, 4 days after my bday. So before that, I forgot about my bday and concentrated on the nclex-rn. Glad to meet people who are on the same boat as me :D YAY NURSING! I'm a nurse in Miami FL and work on a telemetry/medsurg floor.

Hi all :)

I graduated from a BSN program in May, passed my NCLEX-RN the following June. I've been working in an ER in the midwest since then and love every minute of it! I'm married and have a 6 and 7.5 year old, and work FT nights.

Hi everyone! My name is Christine. I graduated in May 2010 with my BSN and passed my boards in August 2010. I got married at the end of October and moved to Atlanta 3 days later. Its been a whirlwind! But I'm so excited to have finally landed my first RN job last week and I can't wait to get started!

Hey avidhunter3...how's it going? When I started reading your thread I had to look and see if I wrote it...lol. I graduated 5-8-10 with my ADN, took NCLEX and passed 7-7-10 and started as a RN 8-18-10. I am married with four kids, 2 each 9-15 (wierd huh?), but the 15 year old will be 16 on the 13th. I work nights on a med/surg floor that I was on as a NA for the year prior. I am currently in my RN-BSN classes, oh and I'm 33.

I hope you are enjoying and learning at work and you are blessed to have a good team to work with!

Just graduated with my bachelor's from NAU. Recieved my RN last week. Happy to be aboard. I have

Hi msvegaslpn. I am in need of a preceptorship and I am so glad that you're a graduate of csn. Will you be able available to do it, it'll be around march 2015. I am planning to do my preceptor at the VA or some facility that is a hospital-like (Kindred). But if there's other better place to have experience, any suggestion is greatly appreciated. I am also hoping that you will get some sort of notification with this reply. I would love to hear from you.
