New to Nephrology

Hey everyone! I just started a new position in a Nephrology clinic, I am the onnly RN in the clinic and I work with 2 nephrologists and a CMA. Our Dialysis unit is seperat so we basically just see pts in early stages of CKD and pts that are on ESA therapy. My question is what all can RNs do in a clinic setting. The physicians I am working with have never had an RN in the office and they are wanting to know if I can do more than the MAs do. For instance in the past one of the DRs had to be in the office for Procrit/Arenesp/Fareheme injections, is this something that they still have to do if I am there?

Just looking into what all other nurses do in a clinic setting other than the typical assesments, refills. notes questions, etc. Thanks in advance for all your help!
