I just got a job in a medical oncology unit right out of nursing school. I am a bit nervous starting out, does anyone have any advice on some books i can read up on that would help me make my situation less intimidating. Thanks in advance.

:balloons: Congradulations on your new job! Oncology floor is a great place to work. I also just took a new job on Oncology floor after working 3 yrs on Med/Surg floor. After reading good reviews I bought a book : "Oncology Nursing assessment and clinical care" by Christine Miaskowski and Patricia Buchsel (Mosby). This book is great and it has everything you need! It cost over $100 as new, but you can get it for 1/2 price if you buy it used. Try www.half.com or www.amazon.com.
Good Luck!
