Has anyone worked at Barstow Community Hospital in CA? If so, what is it like? How much do they pay?
Is ratio good? How is community?

If you're an RN, be aware that all California acute care hospitals are legally mandated to obey nurse/patient ratio laws, so the ratios at Barstow Community Hospital should be good based on that alone.
The community has quite a bit of poverty, because most middle-income and upper-income people would not live in Barstow if they had a choice in the matter. Barstow is a somewhat isolated town in the middle of the desert, and the rest of California regards it as a pit-stop where you stop for gas refills and potty breaks on the way to Las Vegas. There is a military base nearby.
