New grad programs in Adelaide

I need a bit of help, please.

I've looked up the new grad programes at various hospitals in Adelaide, and although what might work for me might not work for you, I'm having difficulties gathering enough insight information.

So if any of you is involved in a new grad program, could you share some insight, your opinions, experiences?

My main reason for going there is I do not, will not commute. I've done my share and whilst i'm happy to ride a push bike for 5-10 minutes, that's the max, I'd much rather walk for a few minutes. I presume the rent prices vary according to the location, so what would be a suitable option that a new grad with family could afford? I know it's a 20 minutes from anywhere, but add the trafic into equation, and a kid to be dropped off to school and it's more than 40 minutes.
