new to cm

hi can anyone tell me how to break into the field of cm. every job I apply for wants you to have experience in the field but how do I get it. is there classes or something I can take to make my resume more attractive? I have 21 yrs of emergency room experience and I want out. I have some medical issues and I truly am in search of a work from home position or at the least in a office setting. I just need a chance but nobody will let me in. any thoughts? I've tried nursing home, hospitals, drug rehabs and insurance companies. I'm frustrated. thank you

This question has been batted around many times. Search the site for ideas. I do think that your ER experience would be an excellent background for an appeals / denials position. There are firms that do that for hospitals and also some of the RACs outsource.
