Ask about the agency. Maybe you'll get some private replies.

Indicate where you are located, so that people who have worked for that particular agency office can respond to you with relevant experiences. There are situations that involve an entire company, and those that pertain only to a local office and the people who are working there at this time. This comment is about those companies that are nationwide or have many offices in a particular region. If you are talking about an agency that has only one office in a city or town, then you really have to be more specific because most people will not be able to relate to the office you are talking about.

Your comment about needing to work days makes sense but realize you are limiting your employment opportunities, unless you really want to work home health. Many places require new grads or new hires to work night shift because they have problems keeping that shift covered. There are advantages to night shift, particularly when you are new to nursing. So don't be so quick to write it off. As for child care, believe it or not, some caregivers like the idea of you dropping off the kiddies to sleep all night. Very little work involved. My daughter's sitters asked for less money when she worked night shift because the children slept all night.

Since you're a single mom, the idea about the car, I think, is too good to pass up. A good way to save money. But please don't base your decision solely on the car deal. Ask relevant questions and find out as much as possible before you decide. Good luck.
