Worth it. The test is the exact format as in the book. It is expensive, but you can sell it (like on ebay) after you are done. Good luck!
Hi everyone, I am new here. I am a college student persuing in LPN. I am taking my NET test in 2 weeks in order to get into the LPN program, and I was wondering if any of you nurses have bought the NET study guide on www.eriworld.com ?? they have one and I was wondering if it's worth it before taking the test.. I am very nervous, please reply back. Thanks a lot!
Hi I have already taken the NET and passed somehow-=) I wasn't to good with math and still managed to pass. I didn't hear of the study guide until I was waiting for my results but I would suggest just brushing up on Basic Algebra. I live in PA they gave us 60 min. for 60 math questions and no calc...allowed.-=[ but its not to bad. The reading basically they want to know if you can read something the first time and answer a question in this I felt like they didn't give you enough time to read and answer it was fast paced. But I passed and swore I didn't so if I can Pass it so can you -=)
They also ask questions related personel issues like stress level different types of questions. I think they base the test on the whole thing to Just make sure your able to comprehend there material. I start in Sept for LPN.
I hope this answered some questions
GoodLuck Again..

No I didn't I didn't even know what I was getting into LoL.... I just said one day I am going to become a LPN got the info sent to me I sent in the money and they called like your testing date is in 3 days ....haha I was just like okay, I didn't really even know what it was about, but thank god I passed.....haha it happened all to fast so no didn't read the study guide
Good Luck and when do you plan on starting school? Do you have any children
Talk to ya soon
Buy the book it is worth it. Not only did I buy the book but I did online prep course to prepare for the test. The math questions was 60 questions in 60 minutes, basic math. The reading comprehension for me was 33 questions in 30 minutes, I still remember it because there was less questions in the book. I couldn't understand it until I went back to the book and it tells you might have 25-35 questions in 30 minutes. Part of the reading comprehension was about modern art (something about post-constructional or like it), I hate art questions.
I'm not sure if this practice test is in the same format as the NET we will be taking, but I've been practicing with it. Lots of math....ick. Don't know if it'll help, but anyway, here it is- good luck to you.
