Hello
I am getting ready to take the NET Exam in Jan - I am taking a prep course for it. I was wondering if there was a website where you can get practice exams? Also I am looking for a tutor, is there a place where I can find someone who specifically knows about the Net exam? Can anyone tell me what to except on the exam? I heard that there is math, english, science and social studies, Is this correct? Are there any other books that I can get? I already purchased the Net Norbet study guide.
Any information or advice would be greatly appericated.
Thank you for all your help

You should purchase the net/hobet book from the people who designed the test. Go to www.eriworld.com and purchase it. I think its $28.00 and its does wonders. I just took mine and I scored excellent thanks to that book!

i found the net exam to be pretty simple. its not as hard as i thought it would be and ended walking out with a surprisingly high score! (98) yay. you can too. its' all basic math (decimals, etc.) i think 2 algebra questions, there is alot of reading comp, word means, correct spelling, chemistry and a&p. everything you've already taken in all your prerequisites and high school. don't stress really...i went in super stressed and came out like whew..no reason to even worry. i'm not super smart either, just basic stuff to know. best wishes, let us know how you do!!
take care...:balloons:

yea, the school i took the net for said nothing about a science section and that the test was computer based. (it wasnt computer based) when i got to the site and started the test there was a science section. i was soooo mad, because all i studied for was the math and reading comp.
so everything about the test was all wrong when i got there. i was expecting 60 math questions in 60 minutes, instead there was 30 in 30 mins. i also was expecting 30 reading comp in 60 minutes, of course we had 33 questions in 30mins, (with at least 4-5 reading passaged). all computer based!
i did great on the math portion, but because i paniced during the reading sec while time was running out i had to rush. i pass the reding section but not with what i was hoping. but it was over what the school required so we shall see.
so def get as much info from the school as possible.

I found that the NET was pretty simple however keep in mind, the test is timed. NO, don't freak out, just manage your time wisely. I will include a link for you to visit with every practice imaginable. Good Luck!

It's not that bad at all. I recommend the NET study guide. Don't underestimate the reading portion. I always do well with reading, but I might not have done well if I had taken the exam without studying the reading section.
