Nervous system

I am wanting to hear any experiences all of you have with the hesi. Are there a lot of question over the nervous system? This is probably my weakest area in A&P. I take my Hesi on Saturday for the first and only time for this application period. I do not want to spend too much time focusing on one area. I have been looking up A&P quizzes just to get some extra practice and I am not doing very well! HELP! I have a few more days to study and I plan to make the best of it!

Thanks in advance!

Hi there I saw that you were scheduled to take your hesi today and I too took mine today. Just curious to see how you did and how you studied ?

I did pretty well! Here are my scores and how I studied:

A&P: 80

The most helpful to me was flashcards on quizlet and videos on Youtube. I used my A&P book some but not as much as I should have. The test was SO random. There were several endocrine questions though.

Grammar: 90

I used the Hesi review book and also I googled some practice quizzes to get some extra practice.

Reading:84

I studied reading the least. I just used the Hesi review book and some questions in hesia2.org.

Vocab: 84

The Hesi review book and quizlet. I also googled some crossword puzzles.

Math: 94

I was SO worried about the math section. The hesi review book is very helpful, but I also searched some extra practice for this section as well. Lots of conversions and fractions!

How did you do?

Yes I totally agree with what you said about the math part I didn't have any algebra problems but I did have a lot that were fill in the blank but I think I made a 92% over all

A&p 88

Reading 90

Math 90

Grammar 94

I was so worried about the anatomy part and my advisor said I need to be in the 90's for every section but I don't think I'm going to re-take it for 2 points. Fingers crossed its good enough!! And good luck to whichever school you are applying to ?

Great job!! The program that I am applying to is a point system. My scores on the Hesi got me 7 more points out of the 12 that I could have gotten. I will be applying to the program with 29 out of 40 points, and last semester the lowest score taken was 27 points. I was really hoping to get in the 30's, but I think I have a good chance! Good luck to you as well!
