Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

I now have a Award letter, NELRP Award Worksheet (PAW), and my NELRP Contract when I open up my submitted application! I hope that is good news!

Congrats everyone who has received an email! I received an email that said I had been awarded!!! I verified some info in the portal then was able to view a welcome package, contract, PAW, and my award letter. With in the award letter it said to expect my first deposit 30 days after my contract went into effect. My contract effective date was 7/3/12. I sent a message through the customer service portal and received a reply that all deposits will be made in Sept. I was told that is the way the system is set up. I did not receive anything via snail mail. It was all through my email. I hope everyone receives the final award letter soon!

For me the anticipation and hope of receiving the award after the email that stated this isn't a guarantee award was worse than waiting to hear back anything.

Congrats everyone and for those still waiting DO NOT give up hope! I had a friend who received an email in October 2 yrs ago!

So i just spoke with a rep who said if we confirmed an intent to accept then it's pretty much a done deal. I have the PAW, award letter and contract that i can't open... but he could open them and said that i am under obligation!! Also it won't take a month to get a final letter it should be by next week and deposits in September!!! I don't wanna give out his info or # but just wanted to give everyone some peace of mind!! CONGRATS ALL!!! it's been a long 8 months but it seems that WE'RE IN!!!

I cant open mine either but at least they are there! lizhouston2012 How long ago did you sign your contract and what does your status say?

Hallelujah! I can't wait to get the official word...I have a feeling I'll get a lot more accomplished because I won't be constantly checking for updates. Haha!
