Is there already a thread for RNs waiting to hear about awards from the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program?

When I search, I can only find previous year's threads.

2 days before as well and awarded. I have heard in the past that a lot of people are disqualified early on for minor things like not signing every page submitted or not submitting transcript from each school are student loan dollar amts not matching up etc... it just sucks that u can't find out so u don't make the same mistake twice, if u made a mistake at all. so sorry u weren't awarded.

also ALOT of facilities lost their HPSA scores during this process...

I have seen that one or two have received their first deposits and it was for 2 months (this month and last month). However, I am still waiting on my first deposit and it should be coming anytime!

I received my first deposit on Sept. 19. It was for August and Sept. it will be soon!!!

Did you receive and email notification from NELRP stating you had gotten a deposit or did you just check your bank account?

I just checked my bank account. I'm a little OCD and I check my account daily.

So I emailed the help dept and the guy that wrote back said that the first payment is during the first full month (this month for us who began service last month). He also said that payments tend to go out toward the end of the month, and that you can kind of see when your regular payment will occur based on when you get your first one. So, still waiting

Just called and spoke with rep.. She told me that for those of us whos contact date started in sept. ( mine is sept 6th) we will not get deposit till november.. That deposit will have both Octobers and Novembers payment...

She said it was because the fiscal year ended sept 30th.

Oh well, what's another month after waiting since Feb!!! (still disappointed thought:()

By the way, does that mean they will stop the deposits one month early because my contract start date is 9/10.
