Needs Advice

Hello,

I am a freshman in college and I have a question for all you experienced nurses. What is your opinion on me getting a four year degree in public health and then becoming a nurse after I finish? My greatest desire is to be a missionary overseas and I am addicted to anything medical. I want to have a broader base than a nurse because the places I want to go are quite remote, and I would like to have the knowledge to have the most influence possible.

Any thoughts would so greatly appreciated. Thank you : )

I am not sure how a public health degree will help you with missionary service. Maybe you can contact some missions and they can tell you what would be most helpful.
