Discussion

Need your opinion.

I would like some input, please. I was wondering how much experience in acute care is necessary before I can relocate out if stare and transfer to another location? I have been a nurse for 6 years, RN for two and a half, but haven't been in the acute care setting for two years, been in Subacute rehab/long term care. Any input appreciated, thanks.

Are you wanting to relocate AND re-enter acute care? It seems to me you could move, and look at getting back into acute care once you are situated with a job similar to what you have now if you cannot get into acute care immediately.

No, starting an acute care position first, just wondering how long I need before I'd be considered able to relocate into another acute care position.

6mo at least

Thanks! I figured 6-12 mo, hoping 6 might be enough.
