Hi everyone!!!
Iam writting this because I feel like I am seriously about to have a mental breakdown. I am taking my last semester of pre-requesite classes before Iapply for the ADN program that I want to attend this December. Right now I am taking A&P2, Micro, and Human growth and development. I currently have a 3.8 pre-requesite gpa bu this semester is killing me!!!
I have had 4 tests thus far and have not made an exceptable grade on any of them and it is very upsetting. I want to be a nurse so bad but I feel like this semester is really getting to my emotions and confadence.
Sorry, but I needed to vent and any input would be appreciated.

That is a HARD class load to take and maintain an 'A'. Are you working also? Do you have children? My only advice would be to evaluate your schedule and see what you can cut to allow more time for studies. If you can't cut something, it is more important to maintain GPA, than to finish all three classes now. You may need to apply for next Fall. It doesn't make sense to hurt your GPA over a heavy class load or to make yourself mental. Good luck!
I dont work, but I have a 13 1/2 month old and another on the way. I have looked into dropping a class and they said that I cant because I have financial aide.
Thanks for the reply

I'm in the same boat, well kinda. I'm taking my last semester of pre-reqs with A&P 2, micro and a gen ed humanities class. I thought taking 5 classes before would make me prepared for this but no. Not even close lol. I also have a child that is 1. It's a tough load so i don't blame you for feeling this way. I have a 3.8 gpa thus far too and I'm trying to get into the best nursing program in my state next fall. I haven't been doing too hot on my exams lately and I feel like giving up but I know I'm halfway through the semester and I can do it! You can do it too!!!!!! Plus think, pre-reqs is nowhere close to how difficult and time consuming nursing school will be. Makes me wonder how other parents do it.....
Thank you.... I also wonder how other parents do it. I know that actual nursing school will be 100X harder and time consuming than these pre-requisites are. I figure I will cross that bridge when I get there.
Good luck to you as well as your journey as as a nursing student.
