it's been about a year since i retired from the or,was there for 5 yrs and i feel like i am forgetting everything. can anyone think of any other laparoscopic systems other than olympus and karl storz? also orthopedic joint systems, all i can remember is synthes,any one know of others? also spinal fusion instrumentation, the main ones we used was synthes,again does anyone know of others? thanks,

laparoscopy stuff.... stryker is another big one, stryker and olympus probably have 80% market share combined, if not more....
total joints, there are tons of them. some of the bigger ones are Depuy(johnson and johnson company), biomet, smith and nephew, encore, stryker... there are lots of small companies out there too..... stuff that some doctor "invents" and sellls to themselves.....
alot of the same companies also do spine hardware but we dont do much neuro so I cant name many more....
