Need help to work in US

Published

Hi everyone, I am new in this website but I am constantly reading topics thru google in this website. Very informative. Now I am the one needed your ideas and advices. I am currently legally live here in the US on H4 visa. I was on L2 visa, took and passed my nclex 0n 2008 and I managed to work as an RN in a hospital here in Dallas, TX. We are Canadian citizens. We were not granted for green card and I lost my working permit when my husband company change his visa to H1B just last year. Now as H4 visa holder I cannot work. My Hospital does not sponsor employee anymore. I was refused for TN visa at the border in Toronto airport for no visa screen. I am wondering, how long it takes the process for visa screen. I finished my BSN program in Philippines. I have my credentials evaluated by International Education Research Foundation, INc. (IERF) for equivalency. I did refresher course in Toronto, Canada for Med-Surg Nurse and earned a license as a registered nurse. Is there any exceptions for Visa screen? Is my IERF evaluation and nclex certificate enough to apply again for TN visa? PLEASE help.

You are required to have vsc for TN visa there is no exception and having already been refused TN because you have no vsc means the same can happen again. VSC takes approx 4 months depending on where you trained and whether you have already sent any documents to CGFNS for CES as the same docs sent for CES can be used for VSC with only outstanding requirements would be arranging for verification of passing NCLEX

Thank you so much for reading my post. It gives me an idea. Bless you.
