Need Help With Nclex Please

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum, but i was wondering if someone could give me some advice on studying for the NCLEX. I just graduated from LVN school two weeks ago and I am confused about what I should study first. I have a Saunders PN book that I have been studying from, a Saunders Q & A, and a Lipincott book. My instructor said that are class should be ready to take the exam by May. I'm just not sure how to get all of the information read by May. So if anyone has any advice on what i should focus on the most it would really help. Thanks.

i graduated recently just like you. i graduated last week of february and took my board this monday and found out i passed this morning.

most of the information should still be fresh in your mind so my recommendation is take your test asap. you have better chance of passing.

you do not really have to do any heavy reviewing since you just graduated. just review those subjects that you are weak at like ob for me. then you should do nclex questions as much as you can and you have to read all the rationale. i used saunder's cd q&a and i found it extremely helpful because to me their questions are harder than the nclex itself. of course know you basic values, e.g. na, k, urine specific gravity, etc...

good luck on the upcoming nclex and try to relax as much as you can (easier said than done). i know how you feel.

Hey. Thanks so much for the advice. I'm going to follow it and hopefully I'll have great results. Congratulations on passing your NCLEX.
