Need help

Hi all!

I am a nursing student going into my last semester of nursing at a community college in mankato, mn. I have been contemplating for a while what i want to do after college and after passing my boards and have decided i would like to attain some more information about travel nursing. My friend and I, we are both graduating this december, are wondering if there is such a thing as a summer starting position in traveling nursing for recent grads. We will be graduating with our associates in science of nursing, and obtaining an RN license and return to school in the fall as students for a Bachelors in science of nursing.

Thanks for any information provided!

Have a good day :)

Nope, you should have two years of experience before traveling. Right now, you have no specialty or experience. Travelers are expected to work with minimal orientation and be productive. You should see if you can find a local hospital willing to give you a summer internship with a view towards staff when you finish your bachelors.
