Need your help

Hi there,

I am a foreign graduated nurse. I passed NCLEX-RN in August. I am also a permanent citizen of the US. I don't have that much of work experience also. Is it possible to get a job here? I really like to work in a hospital.I live in MA.

Thanks in advance:uhoh3:

lucky for you! yes you can have a good work. since you dont need to undergo a petition . all you have to do since you graduated in foreign land you have to comply the requirments of MA.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

As Dave says you need to meet requirements for MA for foreign nurse and approach hospitals for work

Thank you for the response. I already got all the documents necessary for MA nurse. I have applied for tons of places but nobody is calling me for the interview.

I am really frustrated.:o

Have you applied in person or via computer? Suggest that you go in person to the Human Resources Dept and introduce yourself in person.

You need to market yourself to them and give them a reason why they would want to hire you over someone else.

What type of facilities are you applying to? What area do you wish to work in?

You are one step ahead of many others as you do not need to deal with any immigration issues.
