Hello, new here. I need help in studying. I am in the last block of term 3, and Med-Surg here is no fun. Cardio and Circulatory left. Any tips on studying?

your way of studying shouldn't be any different from what you have been doing unless you have been having problems up to this point. when studying diseases the approach is always to review the normal anatomy and physiology of the body system involved, then the pathophysiology of the specific disease (where the anatomy/physiology has gone wrong), how the doctors diagnose and treat it, and then how nurses assist the doctors in treating it and well as what independent nursing actions we can do. you can use the critical thinking flow sheet for nursing students to help you organize all this information for each disease. weblinks on https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/medical-disease-information-258109.html - medical disease information/treatment/procedures/test reference websites will help you find information about some of the diseases, particularly these websites:

there are also weblinks for ekg tutorials on post #39 of this sticky thread: https://allnurses.com/nursing-student-assistance/any-good-iv-127657.html - any good iv therapy or nursing procedure web sites. in fact, there are a number of good weblinks on that entire sticky that may be of interest to you.

we're having some kind of fun now!
