Sorry if this is a duplicate
So what did i say ummm
Ive just started my Division 2 Enrolled NUrsing course online and i feel like im drowning!!
I have no idea what im do and know of the A&P stuff is sticking in my head
So im looking for anyone to discuss share ideas etc with or help me along the way. If anyone is in BUndaberg I would love to catch up and chat about the course etc.
I think my main issue is that its been so long since i have study outside of a classroom and i feel very alone as not many students are online when i manage to get on the course chatroom.
Did anyone else feel like this at the start of there course.... im seriously considering pulling out
When i got my text books i just starred at them and thought HOLY SH@@T what have i got myself into.
Im so disorganized at the moment and think i just need a push in the right direction just dont know how to get that either lol
Well if anyone would like to chat or let me know im not the only one that felt like this please give me a yell
Take Care
Nell

Hi Nell,As I'm a Victorian RN I can't help you regarding catching up with students in a similar situation but agree that being able to talk with someone in a similar situation would help. I returned to studying after a long break and also did it by distance, though pre-internet so not online - I was fortunate to be studying with a friend, and when I got stuck ringing her was helpful, even if all she said when I wailed "I don't get it!" was "take a breath and try again."Sometimes just being overwhelmed and reaked by the study load is enough to interfere with your anility to absorb information. Try posting in the student forum of your course for a support group - you won't be the only one feeling like this. Best of luck :)
Hi
Thanks for the reply. I know what you mean by the study load being a bit overwhelming and thats what you get stuck on. BUt i think i have managed to mave some progress yeah. I posted a short forum within my group and i guess im not the only one that is feeling it. Funny thing is just knowing that im not the only one has helped me see a bit clearer, plus i had help from my sister who is almost finished her RN course. And i have submitted my first assessment item and sat my first formal quiz. not bad all in 2 days.
I must admit it alot harder studing this way than what i thought it would be.
Well done! Yeah, although online study has a lot of advantages, there are some really disadvantages, too - especially if you feel overwhelmed or lost, or if you have trouble with procrastination (my greatest weakness).
Good luck with your assignment and the rest of your course :)
