Hi, I haven't worked in a while, and I have an interview later today. I would realllllllly appreciate help with calculating this example.
1.First, can someone give me the *average* weigh (in kg) of a 2 month-old baby?
2. If I needed to tell the parents to give Tylenol to this baby, it is
15 mg/kg---how would I do this math?
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This interview has me more nervous than usual! LOL!

1. i dont really know how much an average baby of 2 month is....so lets just say 12 lbs....you divide that by 2.2...so thats 5.45 kg...
and then for 2. you would multiply 5.45 by 15 and that comes to 81.8 mg.....
so there you go....i hope i did that right... :) good luck today

Well if its an answer to an interview question, my answer would be as follows. "It does not matter what the baby weighs as I do not give medical advice over the phone." "Further more I never guess on medication dosage esp on infant or child, im going weigh to the child"
rj:rolleyes:
Thank you!!!.......I realize I could've researched online or consulted my books, but I needed a QUICK answer, and I had forgotten to divide by 2.2 first! There might be a med test, and math was never my strong point.......thanks so much!
