Unfortunately, there might be no quick and fast solutions to your current problems. If the LPN program was not approved by your state's BON, there's the strong possibility that you may need to start from scratch and attend an approved LPN program elsewhere. Call your state's BON for a more definitive, final answer. You may even wish to seek the advice of an attorney. I'm so sorry that you are experiencing this.

I am so sorry you have to go through this. Did you complete the entire program only to find out it doesn't count? You mention you are going to continue in another school, that's good. In the meantime, did you complete the requirements for CNA? In my LPN program we were given a certificate for CNA after the first few months of the program. Maybe you could work at a facility as a CNA and get experience. Some places may even pay a portion of your tuition.

Good luck and again, I'm sorry this happened to you.

i am not going to continue at another school and they dont have a cna program. i didn't complete the program i had three months left. I really dont know what to do next as a career move

I need some guidance of were to go or what to do for my next career move. i am so discourage and sad about the whole situation but i am getting my money back that is good news

So, starting over at another school's LPN program is not an option for you?

Where is this school located? I live in New York, and never heard of it. Are you sure you will be getting your money back? And, I am also curious, are you saying that you don't want to attend another (accredited) LPN program? You said that you didn't stop going to school...what are you taking, now? How did you discover that the school is not accredited by the State?

I have to agree, there is no quick answer to this. All schools have an entrance exam of some sorts, possibility of pre-requisites and applying for candidacy in this area, so, it is hard for me to say. Please let me know about this school, for my own curiousity.
