I do not know you....I think you should do what you want to do, and what will help you achieve your longterm goals :)

If you want to work there, it certainly can't hurt to ask if they're hiring.

I wouldn't ask til after taking the NCLEX. If your job search didn't go well you could be in a sour mood for the exam. The NCLEX is too important to not have everything you can going + at the time. There will be plenty of jobs to worry about later.

Agreed, focus on your NCLEX right now. Worry about jobs AFTER...

There isn't any harm in asking. Just say "I'm getting my RN license in a few weeks and I was wondering if there were any openings here and how I should apply." I'm just wondering if they have a policy about hiring patients.

But ask yourself whether a job in an OB office is really what you want to settle for as your first job. If it's all you can find, then go for it, but know that many jobs will require acute care experience. So if you want to become an OB or L&D nurse, your better off to search for a hospital position (any speciality) over an office position.
