Hi, I have been working towards my RN through EC and have passed all my nursing exams, have all my academics, and now have my date for the CPNE in Sept 08. I am unsure of which workshop to attend. I live in Mississippi and have viewed the websites for Lynn's Workshop and the one in Atlanta. I really need to know where to spend my hard earned money. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Don't go to the one in Atlanta. I did not heard anything good about that one. I am going to Lynn's in Aug 114,15,16. She has added an extra skills day to her workshop. I am toying between EC and Chancellors workshop. EC will be in my home state Sept 30-Oct 2. It will be a lot cheaper to go as opposed to chancellor where I would have to fly.

howdy:
i went to a cpne workshop this last march (my cpne date is coming up 11/7), so although it was way before my test date, i found it extremely helpful. it gave me a foundation of what is expected from me, plus it gave me the opportunity to network with other folks who are taking the cpne.
why did i use ec? well the cpne instructors were/are also examiners. so they know what the test is about and what the examiners are looking for, so you are getting the information straight from mouth of examiners.
anyhow thats my thought :twocents:. good luck!
