call the county health dept to see what they offer free or low cost. Next, if you are already a student at the school (for pre-reqs) call their health officer to see what they offer. Both offices ought to know about free or discounted clinics in your area. Last, if you absolutely must pay for everything, ask the provider for a discount since you are a nursing student and have no insurance, or at least time to pay. Arrange that beforehand. Good luck.

raygun,

ditto what classicdame suggested. Also, most nursing programs require that their students have health insurance so you will want to confirm this with your school and begin to look at options now while you have time.

I know this won't help with your current problem, but most insurance will NOT cover expenses related to school physicals and adult immunizations. I know mine didn't. I got my immunizations at the local health unit for much less than my physician would have charged.

My physical and immunizations were covered by my insurance, but I get mine through work rather than through personal insurance. Using your annual/5-year physical as your nursing school physical might also help get around restrictions in your coverage. If you're an older student, your tetorifice shot may have expired, so at least updating that should be covered under most plans.

Excellent advice. I was going to suggest the same thing. I got my shots at the county health department and had to pay like 75 total (I think) that was for all hep B, varicella, tb, and something else that I can't think of.
