Why?

I took graduated from school in Washington state, took the test in Oregon, and practiced my first job in D.C.

Since you graduated in the US from an approved program, you don't have to have each state reassess your credentials, from what I have read here, even if you get a MSN from a US University your primary nursing education has to be re evaluated when you move from state to state if you have graduated outside of the USA.

That is why I say for an international student, to try and apply in the state they wish to practice, otherwise they may end up spending extra money and time for their credentials be approved.
