need advise on studying

Need new ideas; I need to change the way I study.

I am a visual learner and I understand better when I am read to/explained to me.

I can read and read and read the books, but sometimes it just doesn't click and when I look at the paper all it appears to be is just words on a page.

so any advice would be helpful!!!!!

How about recording your notes on disc or cassette tape? Then you can play them in the car or when you are out for a walk. Talk out loud to yourself as if you were explaining it to a colleague or friend and maybe even draw diagrams on a white board. Play games like memory, where you match the definition to the word, and look up procedures online that you can watch videos of. There are tons of visuals of just about anything online.

Thanks, memory sounds good, i play a Pony memory game with my 5 year almost every night. you think I can add some nursing cards in there? LOL! I was thinking about purchasing a recorder; so that sounds like a plan.
