I've been working as a CNA at a nursing home going on five years. I've recently passed my lpn boards and the nurses want me to work for them. Although I said yes, I feel like maybe I should venture out to a different facility since I haven't been any where else. Should I stay and give it a chance or leave and try a new environment?

Good luck.

I agree-- but you are also correct that you'll learn more by moving to a different place. Also be sure that your coworkers and you can make the transition from m_harston CNA to ms_harston LPN appropriately. Sometimes that's a challenge for all concerned that doesn't declare itself until it's been going on awhile.
So far the transition from CNA to LPN has been good. I just can't help but feel like I need a new place to start. Because I am the type that hates change lol. So since I feel the need to find another place of working; I think it's time.
