Need some advice!!!

I am currently trying to decide whether to go for LPN first and than get my RN degree or just go for the RN. I live in North Carolina and have been researching jobs for LPNs. Can someone help me with this decision because I have been told by some RNs to just go for my RN degree. I plan on going on to become a NNP or a CNM. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

    @MyCrazyWorld I have racked my brain over and over whether I should do LPN or RN first. I have had people to tell me go straight to RN but after looking at my financial situation, I have decided to do the LPN route to get some experience and make some money than go for my RN and than I want to become a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. I am taking one step at a time and besides now I have to go back and retake Chemistry and Biology because it's been over 10 years. I like the plans that you have laid out so hang in there and good luck to you:-D
