Hello,
I am a new member although i have read alot of post over the past few months. i am amazed at the support people receive on here and i am now in need of some help! It took maryland board of nursing forever to process everything I was suppose to have a start date of Oct 6 at Johns Hopkins. My friend who also is going was starting Sept 27 but was able to push her date back a month. I on the hand am told by my manager i cannot. I must now take the NCLEX in 2 weeks instead of having an extra 4 weeks to study. I am absolutely terrified and am at a loss to even know where to began.
if anyone has any comments or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!
thanks

Welcome
I would suggest practising plenty of questions and understanding the rationale to them, would also suggest reading the threads especially the random facts one

hey, everything is going to be okay i know easier said than done but just do as many questions as you can and know why you got them wrong or right and make sure you rest before taking the exam. try and do the questions when you are most alert and set a scehdule for your self.
think postive:wink2: for negative thinking isn't going to help. what floor are you going to start on? i am supposed to start there on the 27 but i am thining of pushing my date back also because i need to find a place and get my temp license:banghead:. hey you are not alone i can email you some stuff i used to help me study pm me
wishing you all the best

Random fact thread!
I would do Saunders RN Review with only 2 weeks, I would take the test at the end of the Chapter then if you score over 75% like Suzanne says --move on -- review only the weak areas less than 75%. Do the prioratizion book that is reccommended here. That is a big help. Good Luck
Hope this helps a little.
i did half of the priority book so far and probably a 1/4 through saunders. i have the nclex game lol and make my bf play it with me even though he is clueless. and did both test in kaplan book. as well as the nclex 3500. i am just worried about it just not being enough time and that i should really talk to my nurse manager.. one minute i am extra confident then i come on here and see a post "i failed" and i get worried... ahhh
thanks for suggestions!!!!!!!
