Well, second time around and I failed again! 1st time: 70 questions shut off and this time 96 and shut off! I'm beside myself after using Kaplan my scores were 55% to 60% I did the whole course and feel disgusted! I had no ekg no drag n frog 2 exhibit and a boat load of sata I'm in pa so I can retest in 45 days but my god I forgot how bad this hurts!

I so feel your pain. I took my exam for the second time on Tuesday. 265 questions and 6 hours and I went straight to the CC page. So bummed! I don't even know what my plans are for the next attempt. I really felt ready for the exam this time. I had 265 questions the first time too. I was thinking of trying Kaplan, but it looks like you didn't have much luck with it. I don't want to take it a fourth time!!

First....breathe (((HUGS)))

Just one thing I want to point out....most practice sores should be OVER 60% prior to testing...closer to 70%.

Look over what was below passing and focus on that. Review questions and rationales.

If you need more comprehensive review and questions, there's always NCSBN review from the makers of NCLEX; questions are VERY similar to the NCLEX, plus they have sources for their rationales.

And remember the four objectives in becoming a safe, entry level nurse per the NCLEX:

1.Safe, effective care;

2.Health Promotion;

3.Psychosocial Integrity;

4.Physiological Integrity.

Once you have your review percentages up, THEN retake the NCLEX.

Best wishes. ((((HUGS)))

It's so heartbreaking! Kaplan works for a lot of people so I honestly don't know what my problem is!
