Ncsbn learning ext... Help please!

Published

Are there any success stories with NCSBN Learning ext? Has it helped anyone. I'm planning on retaking my NCLEX next month and I'm just at my very end. I'm extremely exhausted and need to just fight one last time. I'm leaning toward the learning extension but I want some more details on if it's truly helped anyone (especially repeat test takers) be successful on NCLEX. Thanks :)

Hi there! I definitely recommend taking NCSBN at least for practicing questions. I took my NCLEX for the second time this past tuesday and passed. NCSBN was one of my prep materials, I got it for 8 weeks. I didn't score high sometimes id get in the 50's or 60's but what made a difference is understanding the rationale not memorizing them. Best of luck to you!

I guess it's different for everybody, when I prepped for my retake I tried NCSBN for a week but didn't like it. The "diagnostic" exam didn't tell you what areas you scored weak in, the questions were very easy and the content felt unorganized to me. I used kaplan, using the RN content review guide and the qbanks, trainers, and practice exams. A lot of people, myself included think Kaplans questions are more like nclex than any other prep guide. Whatever you pick, good luck!

Thank you and congrats (again)! I hope to be successful the 3rd time around

AND WOULD ANYONE RECOMMEND HURST?

i'M JUST REALLY LOST

I'm using Hurst right now I believe its really good for content. If you feel you aren't that strong in content I honestly think that that is the best source. Good Luck!

I am using Hurst right now only for content...I failed the first time with Kaplan..I feel once you master the content you will be good to go..I would suggest stick one reference for only content and other ones questions...good luck! :)
