Hi all!
I took the NCLEX yesterday and the computer shut off at 75 questions. I was fine up until the computer shut down...THAT's when I started shaking! All questions except one appeared to be at least application or analysis level questions. None of them seemed like "recognition/recall" or "knowledge." I wasn't sure about a single answer - on most questions I could get it down to 2 possible answers right away, and from there, who knows....
The waiting is just a killer!
Stuck waiting in Iowa:uhoh3:

hi,
I know just what you are talking about. I took mine on the 16th, it shut down at 85 (LPN) and I swear I flunked. I had quite a few prioritization and delegation, 4-5 medications. My score was on the Pearson site 2 days later. I about had an anxiety attack as I put in my credit card info so I could get the results. I was shaking and even had some tears of happiness when I saw that pass... Aren't we glad we can check in two days in Iowa? I would hate to be those poor people that have to wait till the results are sent out.
So where did you test? I tested in Dm.
You didn't say how you did in school, but I figured if you were close to the top of your class and the computer stopped that early, you probably passed.
Good Luck, I"m sure you did great.

:balloons: Congratulations to you!!!:balloons:
I'm in Iowa City and took the test at the Coralville testing center. I just graduated from the University of Iowa, and I did pretty well in the nursing program. I know of two people who graduated last semester and did very well in the program, but didn't pass NCLEX on the first try (I think they psyched themselves out). I had a friend who took it on a Tuesday this last January, though, and got her license in the mail by Friday - I thought that was amazing.
Yup - we sure are lucky to be able to check the Pearson site in two days. The BON website is updated Wednesday mornings, from what I understand, and I intend to check that tomorrow morning, too!
