nclex today!

hey everyone...just wrote nclex today. computer stopped at 75. there was a lot of delegation, infection control, isolation procedures, prioritization, especially towards the end. i was hoping for ~ 90% multiple choice, but nope... many "select all that apply" "which statements indicates more teaching/intervention needed" etc. arrrggghh!

with the delegation, prioritization there were always 2 very close and correct answers. im hoing that out of the 75 that 15 of those were the experimental ones and wont count. very hard to prepare for these areas as generally the text books haven't caught up with how tricky these questions are and the content to study.

hoping i passed, but at least i'll know how to prepare for the next time. it was tough! :igtsyt:

Let's wish you passed. The SATA questions is really my worry, no matter how prepared you are you still can't make your answers 100% sure. I don't think one of us here or even a medical practitioner could answer a SATA question perfectly on all areas. I just hope and pray I don't get a lot of SATAs 'coz that way it will surely pull me down.

Is this type of question a hard level one?

Thank you.

Hopefully you passed, try the peassonvue trick.

i will defitinitely be honest and upfront about my pass/fail when i get the result. i was gettting so exhausted by all the sata questions, i was so happy when the computer cut off at 75. honestly i just couldn't take it anymore, and felt i was guessing a lot. i went in borderline confident...came out feeling as though i had failed, and then later thought, well maybe i passed...so its hard to say. the prioritization q's were also exhausting, because they are not fact based, more judgement. when do you write??

Try the pearsonvue trick.

okay, does the pearsonvue trick work this early?? cuz i tried it...followed the instructions to a "t" and i got the so-called "good pop up" 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.. of course i'm very glad i got this pop up, but does this mean anything this early?? at the time i'm writing this message i had finished my exam ~ 8 hours ago. in my area i'm allowed to pay for the quick view method, so of course i will be doing that but...im hoping i passed! i will let you all know either way.
