Hey Im also taking my exam for the 2nd time this week. What Im doing for my last day's are just questions and looking over lab values and of course relaxing. When you go into your exam take your time, remember you don't have to finish all 265 to pass, and if you pass 75 questions think of it as a good thing, it means that you are near passing, so buckle down read questions carefully.

Good Luck

What did you use to study thus time?

what did you use to study thus time?

the first time i didn't study, i probably did 200 questions and looked over some stuff for a week. i took the exam because i felt pressured by my school and classmates to take it. big mistake. i got 265 and near passing on everything. this time i used saunders but not the whole book, i looked over things i know were important like the endocrine, respiratory and gi system. i did read the first 21 chapters and started to jump around. i did the kaplan qtrainer practice exams, 1-6 and got in the 70-76%, starting the 7th tonight. i also did exam cram which has five 250 question exams; so far i've done 3 and average in the 72-80%. going to try and finish the last two by wednesday. i also used la charity, got 9 more chapters to do, but they are small. being praying for help and guidance, i feel prepared this time around but you never know. i also used some information i got from allnurses that were helpful. i know what got me last time were infection control and the endocrine system, i've studied them like crazy and so far i've been doing well in those areas. i've been studying for 5 weeks, 2-4 hours a day, done around 2500-3000 questions, big difference from the first time, praying, i know it will pay off.

what did you do this time around?
